- MGACRA is a nonprofit (501c3) organization of Master Gardeners that supports the Virginia Cooperative Extension in a wide variety of activities including education programs, support of the Virginia Master Gardener Association, scholarships, community projects, and social activities.
There are four classes of MGACRA Members:
- Active (currently volunteering and submitting hours) Dues are $20.00 per year*
- Past MGACRA President Dues are waived
- Graduates of Master Gardener Class of 2026-Dues are waived for 2026
- Auxiliary Member (Not an active Virginia Extension Master Gardener but a MGACRA supporter) $20.00 per year*
Each MGACRA member regardless of class needs to fill out the Membership Application and Renewal Form for the MGACRA records.

2. ONLINE: Forms can be filled in at the MGACRA web page, MGACRA.org, and the fee can be submitted online using PayPal. An additional $1.00 transaction fee needs to be added to the $20.00.
3. The form and $20.00 check or cash can be handed to a MGACRA board member at a monthly general membership meeting or any other in-person MGACRA event.
An email will be sent to you acknowledging your 2026 membership and payment and a 2026 membership card. Please make sure your email address is clearly printed on your application form.
Submission of the membership form will take the place of your signature.
