SECOND ANNUAL Pollinator Week Kick-Off Celebration
Are you ready for Pollinator Week?

Hours: 10 am to 3 pm
Pollinator Week is June 17-23, 2024. June 15 is to help you prepare for Pollinator Week. Learn what is a pollinator; How to identify pollinators; Learn fun facts that will make you look at GOOD bugs differently. There will be beekeepers to answer your questions about bees and bee keeping. There will be local flower growers to share their experience of growing lots of flowers. There will be Master Gardeners there to answer your gardening questions. There will be fun projects for kids. Lots of information to take home and apply today. Bring your family and friends!
Why it is important?. You may not even know that some of the bugs you love are pollinators. We will show you the amazing world of pollinators and how you can help increase their numbers in your area. Do you have a home vegetable garden? You need pollinators. Do you have flowering plants, shrubs, and trees? Learn what pollinators are attracted to what you have in your yard.

June 15 is the Pollinator Week Kick-Off Celebration.
This event will have more activities planned this year than last year.
Here is a sign-up sheet for 2 shifts. You can sign up for one or both shifts. Please include your full name and email address.

If you sign up for the first shift, everyone will have some part of setting up the tables, displays and craft tables in the Theater. If you sign up for the second shift, everyone will have some part in packing up when the event ends.
The event will be at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library (CRRL), 1201 Caroline Street, F’burg. In the Theater Room. The hours of the event are 10 am to 3 pm. Set-up starts at 9 am and clean-up starts at 3 pm.
